Assessment of suitability
The assessment of suitability is not simply testing. Fontes uses a skills-based assessment centre for making such assessments.
The assessment centre is a set of assignments in the course of which the person who is being assessed will make general capacity tests, fulfils a questionnaire based on self-assessment, participates in interviews, group work, and role games, and solves a management task.
The outcome of the assessment is an overview of the strengths and development needs of the person being assessed in terms of achieving company objectives using important competencies. The customer receives a written report and the consultant shares comments and explanations in the course of an oral presentation.
When several talents are being assessed, Fontes will make a comparison outlining the differences of the talents and possible benefits and disadvantages for the company.
For assessment, Fontes uses scientific assessment instruments developed by SHL Group. SHL is a global consultancy that was founded in UK in 1997 and has offices in more than 40 countries. Fontes is the official representative and distributor of SHL in the Baltic states.
