360° assessment

360° assessment is an assessment process where the person who is being assessed, his or her supervisor, subordinates, colleagues, and co-operation partners give evaluations on the basis of agreed skills. Fontes uses the universal questionnaire that covers 36 management competencies developed by SHL Group. A questionnaire can also be based on the company’s own skill-levels.

  • Information collected systematically from people who have seen the person being assessed in the work situation.
  • Possibility to compare assessments given by various people with the self-assessment of the person.
  • Outlining specific strengths and development needs.
  • Personal in-depth feedback to the person being assessed involving discussion of assessment results in the light of motivation and personal development.
  • Written summary to the person being assessed and his or her supervisor.
  • If requested, oral feedback to the person and supervisor.
  • Possibility to make a consolidated summary. It is useful if there are more persons being assessed and their results can be compared with each other as well as the average score to select adequate and inadequate competencies.
  • A basis for further management decisions or additional material for assessments made during development discussions.
