Kaire Laas
Partner, Lead Consultant, Board Member
My passion is the sustainability and development of Fontes. Since 1995, I have served Fontes with dedication and care as a partner—searching for and advising leaders. By nature, I am rather modest, yet this time I will set that aside as I agree with the reflection of a close collaboration partner: “Kaire, you have influenced the entire story of Estonia’s modern economy.”
At Fontes, I have had the opportunity to realise myself in almost every possible role: as a consultant, Managing Director, team leader, and business area leader. Today, I am once again in my favourite role—as an executive search consultant and advisor to leaders. I find great joy in discovering different worlds—of businesses, organisations, and people. I believe that the world of work can be bright for everyone when people are able to realise their true essence in the best possible way—doing what they are meant to do, what gives meaning to their existence and brings happiness. In my consulting work, I strive to step into another person’s world to understand their talents as a leader, their potential, dreams, and passion, and to support and encourage them in making conscious and meaningful choices. I value and enjoy working with boards of organisations in their executive selection processes.
As an executive search and selection consultant, I value: the development of Estonia’s leadership culture; diversity in leadership teams and candidate selection; sustainable entrepreneurship; the free movement of talent; partnership in employment relationships; and a strong focus on results.
Caring for nature and culture is close to my heart, with environmental responsibility being an essential and natural part of it. Almost every weekend is spent at my country home in Tori, living as simply and close to nature as possible. In my vision of the future, I see myself creating a small boutique cinema nestled among forests—a place with a soulful atmosphere where community, film art, and the spirit of place meet.
At Fontes since 1995.
