Liisa Täherand
Talent Experience Specialist
As a Talent Experience Specialist at Fontes, my greatest responsibility is to ensure an outstanding experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process – to provide relevant information even before they apply and to serve as a supportive first point of contact until the end of the process. I have experience and skills as a career counsellor, which enables me to support candidates both during recruitment and outside of it.
I hold a degree in art history from the Estonian Academy of Arts, which makes it natural for me to interpret, analyse, and place what’s happening in society into a broader context. Over time, this has developed into my professional passion – workplace well-being. Out of a desire to bring workplace well-being initiatives to a wider audience and into every organisation, my colleagues and I created the Fontes Well-Being Cards, of which I have the honour of being one of the three authors.
I enjoy intellectual challenges, solving complex problems, and reflecting on the pressure points of society – especially through writing. I’m always happy to write and will continue writing articles on important and thought-provoking topics.
At the same time, I place great importance on maintaining my own well-being. In the midst of these complex, serious, and sensitive matters, humour (I appreciate a quality doom-scroll), fiction (3–4 books a month), and my great passion – sports – help me stay balanced and go deep enough. I’m a dedicated gym enthusiast and an endurance fox.
At Fontes since 2021.
