As a Mentor

I am a calm, attentive, and trustworthy partner in reflection. I create an open space for collaboration where mentees can organise their thoughts, view situations from a new perspective, and arrive at solutions that work for them. I do not offer ready-made answers; rather, I support the mentee through active listening, reflection, and effective questioning.

Experience

I have extensive experience as a teacher and educational leader, including serving as the head of an educational institution from 1997 to 2024. I have also gained leadership experience at the county and local government levels, and I hold a master’s degree in both teaching and educational leadership. I began mentoring in 2008, have completed further training through Fontes’ mentoring programme, and hold an EMCC EIA certification.

I work most effectively with people who are willing to discuss things openly, take an honest look at their situation, and take responsibility for their own development. I’m a good fit for mentees who value trust, calm reflection, and a willingness to try new solutions.
